Melons peak from June to September.

While varieties like Cantaloupe, Honeydew, and Galia are imported year-round from Central and South America, the European harvest (primarily from Spain, Italy, and France) offers the best sweetness and scent during the summer months. Outside of this window, the fruit often lacks fragrance and can have a firmer, less juicy texture.
