Out of season
Currants
Currants (Black, Red, and White) peak from July to August.
They are strictly seasonal and rarely imported fresh outside of the European summer. While they can occasionally be found in late June or early September depending on the weather, they are almost exclusively available as frozen or dried fruit during the rest of the year.
