Lobster
Lobster peaks from June to September. While available year-round, native lobsters are at their best during the summer when they move into shallower waters and are most active. This period offers the highest quality meat and better availability. To support local conservation, it is important to ensure lobsters meet minimum landing sizes and that "berried" females (those carrying eggs) are returned to the sea, practices that help maintain healthy, self-sustaining populations for future seasons.
