Cracked Sugar Cookies

Method

1. I

   Beat oleo until fluffy.

2. II

   Gradually add sugars, beating well.

3. III

   Add egg and vanilla, beat well.

4. IV

   Combine flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar.

5. V

   Add gradually to creamed mixture.

6. VI

   Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in sugar.

7. VII

   Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325° for 10-12 minutes.
