Granny'S Sugar Cookies

Method

1. I

   Cream together butter and sugar.

   Blend in egg.

3. III

   Sift together salt, baking powder, and flour.

4. IV

   Add to mixture.

5. V

   Blend vanilla into mixture.

6. VI

   Chill dough.

7. VII

   Roll dough to thickness desired, and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter.

8. VIII

   Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet in 400°F preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
